Our Youth Drop-In Service is a safe and supportive place for young people aged 12–24.
Our Youth Drop-In Service, located within the Fairfield Youth & Community Centre, is a safe and supportive place for young people aged 12–24. Run by our skilled Youth and Family Support Specialists, it offers free access to sports, activities, tailored support, as well as a welcoming space to socialise and have fun.

What you’ll find at the Youth Drop-in Service
- State-of-the-art sports facilities: Basketball, soccer, volleyball, touch football, trampolining, table tennis, and more
- Games and activities: Pool tables, foosball, board and card games, arcade machines, free Wi-Fi, and computer access
- Individual support: Friendly Youth Support Specialists available for guidance and case management
- Specialised support programs: Mentoring, youth justice conferences, Work and Development Orders, and access to services like Legal Aid.
- Employment help: Every Wednesday, our team can guide you on how to search for jobs, enrol in courses, prepare for interviews, or create your resume.
- Workshops: We run workshops that support Young People to develop their skills and help build connection to their peers. These can include Barbering Workshops, Drumming classes and employment and career related workshops.
Registration Process
Drop in and speak with a staff member at reception to get started.
- Under 18s: A short registration form will need to be completed on your first visit. A parent or guardian must also sign a waiver form before you can take part.
- 18 and over: You can register yourself when you arrive.
All visitors are required to sign in each time they attend.

What you need to know
You only need to complete the registration form once on your first visit. After that, you just sign in at reception each time you attend.
No, parents and guardians don’t need to stay once you have registered and they have signed the waiver. Our Youth Support Specialists are on-site to make sure everyone feels safe and supported.
That’s completely ok! Our space is welcoming, and our team is here to help you feel comfortable and meet new people.
Absolutely! Feel free to bring a mate along, they’ll just need to sign in (and complete the one-off registration form if it’s their first time).
Yes, the Youth Drop-In Service stays open during school holidays, unless there’s a public holiday or special event. Check our social media for any updates on opening times.
The service is funded by the NSW Department of Communities and Justice Targeted Early Intervention Program.
