Community Access
We believe that everyone deserves the chance to be part of their community in meaningful ways. At Fair Foundations, we walk alongside people with disability to remove barriers to participation and create real opportunities for connection and growth.
Our Community Access service helps people with disability get out and about, build confidence, and stay connected to the people, places and activities they care about.
With support from our experienced and diverse team, you can take part in everyday outings, explore your interests, and grow your confidence.
Here’s how we help
- Real-world experiences that build confidence
We support you to explore your community, try new things, and gain everyday skills that help you feel more independent and in control.
- Social connection and inclusion
We help you connect with others and build friendships. This could be through shared outings, group activities, or visits to local events that help you feel part of your community.
- Activities shaped around your goals
From day trips and public transport practice to shopping trips or art classes, we tailor every activity to your interests, preferences and NDIS goals.
- Friendly, flexible support
Our team brings energy, understanding and strong local knowledge. We speak multiple languages and value cultural diversity, so we can match you with someone who understands your needs and supports you with care.
What can Community Access include?
Every person’s plan looks different, but here are some of the things we can support with:
- Visiting local cafes, cinemas, markets or community events
- Going shopping, running errands or attending appointments
- Learning travel skills and catching public transport
- Joining hobby groups, fitness classes or social clubs
- Exploring work, volunteering or study options
- Just getting out for a walk, a coffee or some company
