What is Roving Childcare?
Our Roving Childcare service provides on-site child-minding for local organisations and schools across the Fairfield Local Government Area.
Whether you’re running parenting groups, training sessions, workshops, or community events, we can care for children on-site so parents and carers can participate fully.
Our experienced educators set up engaging, age-appropriate activities that keep children entertained, supported, and safe throughout the session. We bring along toys, puzzles, games, playdough, and even arts and crafts activities where suitable.

What you need to know
This service is available for local organisations and schools within the Fairfield local government area, and we cater for children aged 0–5 years. We may also be able to support surrounding areas, please get in touch to check availability.
Roving Childcare sessions are generally available Monday to Friday, between 9:00am and 2:30pm. Please contact us with your requirements, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs where possible.
Schools and organisations usually book on a term basis, depending on their needs, and we recommend booking a term or two in advance. We try to be as flexible as possible if changes to bookings are required.
1 Educator for a 2-hour session: $55
2 Educators for a 2-hour session: $110
2 Educators for a 3-hour session: $140
Fees may vary depending on session requirements. We follow NSW educator-to-child ratios for safe supervision.
